Signage is a massive issue at the moment in Newcastle, with the name of the local football team's ground raising tensions amongst the fans.

Last year, the club's chairman, Mike Ashley, announced that he was changing the name of the historic St James' Park to the Sports Direct Arena, in order to publicise his company and pave the way for the sale of naming rights in the future, which could earn the club millions.

However, the old signage outside the ground had remained until last week when it was removed, much to the displeasure of one fan, who quickly daubed the ground's previous name back on the naked wall in white paint.

And now, in keeping with the club colours, another artist has decided to paint St James' Park in black paint on the bare brickwork, after the previous paintwork had been cleaned off.
