Last night saw the presentation of this year's
trophies for the best musicians in the country at the 2012 Brit Awards.
Adele and Ed Sheeran both went home with two of the sculptures, whilst One Direction won Best British Single, Coldplay won the gong for Best British Band for the third time and Blur were presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Music prize.
Ahead of the event though, much of the talk was about the new look that the trophies were carrying this year, daubed in red, white and blue, with a Union Flag at the bottom.
The design was the brainchild of pop artist Sir Peter Blake, who created the iconic Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover for the Beatles.
